Campaign Story

Hi! My name is Nataya, and I am a pregnancy care social worker currently enrolled in a Master of Social Work program. My wife, Tanaua, is a registered nurse who is also pursuing her Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP). We have been together since 2016 and married for five years.

For nearly three years, we have been trying to grow our family. I was diagnosed with PCOS, which has made conceiving especially challenging. In July 2024, we were blessed to conceive our daughter, Mia. Tragically, we experienced a second-trimester loss due to previously unknown cervical incompetence. This resulted in a traumatic birth, during which I hemorrhaged and required emergency surgery. I nearly lost my life, but God carried me through.

After multiple surgeries and unsuccessful insemination attempts, we have made the decision to move forward with IVF in hopes of increasing our chances of conception. Despite everything we have faced, we have not given up hope that one day we will become mothers.
